Expert P.U. College, Valachil celebrated Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala in conformity with the syncretic atmosphere of the campus.
Dr. G. Premkumar, Trustee, Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation inaugurated the celebration by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Staff and students set up ‘Pookkalam’, the traditional floral carpet made out of the gathered blossoms with several varieties of flowers of differing tints.
The celebration culminated with 'Onasadya', the traditional feast which was served on plantain leaves by Chef on Wheels.
