77th Independence Day celebration at Expert P.U College, Valachil
77th Independence day was celebrated at Expert P.U College, Valachil with national fervor and patriotism. Sri. Ramit Chennithala, IRS, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, Mangalore hoisted the tricolor at the Time Square in the campus and inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion he shared his school memories and encouraged the students to work harder to become a better version of them in the future. Conveying the greetings of the 77th Independence Day, he urged the students to be honest to their parents.
Prof.Narendra L Nayak, Chairman Expert Group of Institution said in his presidential address that we should be proud of our nation and ensure that India becomes a fully developed country. He motivated the students to be good citizens of India by showing sincerity and hard work in their own selected career paths.
Dr.Ushaprabha N.Nayak, Vice Chairperson, Expert Group of Institutions administered oath to the newly elected members of the students’ parliament. She encouraged the students to be a great leader of their own and contribute to their nation.
Dance, singing of patriotic songs and human pyramid formation by students were part of the cultural programme of the day
Mr. Ankush N. Nayak, Director, Information and Technology, Expert Group of Institutions, Mrs. Deepika Ankush Nayak, Dr. Vijayan Karippal, Principal welcomed the gathering. Master Abhinandu Biju proposed vote of thanks. Master Gokul G.S and Ms. Pavani R Verma compered the formal programme. Ms. Arya Kariyannavar hosted the cultural programme.
