Expert Pre-University College, Valachil is a private unaided college affiliated to the Karnataka State Pre-University Board, Bengaluru. The Medium of instruction is English. The college admits both boys and girls based on their performance in 10th Std. Board examination. The college offers the two year Pre-University course with the following subject combinations.
Group I : Languages
Note: Students are suggested to take up as their second language Kannada / Hindi / Sanskrit only if they are proficient in that language in 8th , 9th, 10th standards.
Group II : Optional Subjects
Science Stream
Eligibility: A pass in SSLC or equivalent examination with 45% marks. Of the total available seats, 50% is reserved as management quota, where selection will be made on merit basis, as decided by the management. The remaining 50% seats will be filled as per admission rules framed by the Pre-University Board, Bengaluru/ Government of Karnataka.
